Wishing to buy something different on eBay away from my usual wants of old manual focus prime lenses from the 1970/80’s, I stumble across an Industar-50-2 lens. It’s a little bit Russian, a 50mm f3.5 standard lens which is M42 screw mount but this has a Nikon adaptor for F mount. It’s not the easiest lens to use, manual focus and manual aperture stop down. Also, it’s not the sharpest, but I’ve been using it on a Nikon D3x and I’m quite pleased with the images below.

I’ve also had a go using it on film, using a Nikon F301. I’ve not developed the film yet but I’ll let you know how that went maybe next month.

Seeya soon.
