Here’s a location editorial and campaign commission from Blood Cancer UK.
As per usual for a project like this, a time was organised to take some lifestyle images of Kirsty and her family. Sometimes a little trepidation is expected wondering if any of the family aren’t exactly happy to have their photos taken – making the images I had in mind a little harder to achieve. However, the family were lovely and very accommodating and a pleasure to spend some time with. I still prefer to work quick so nobody loses interest.
On projects of this nature, I like to work with as many prime lenses as possible, 50mm f1.4, 85mm f1.8 and a 105mm f2. For some of the outside images I used a 80-200mm f2.8 to achieve a decent distance away from the family walking towards me.
I’ve another recent lens acquisition which I’ll probably post a separate Journal upload soon.
