Here’s a fantastic (and fortuitous) job I recently completed.
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Frank for quite some time and called him to find out what he’s been working on. As luck would have it, he was just putting the finishing touches to a piece at Pop-Recs in Sunniside, Sunderland on the edge of the city centre.
I was looking to create an experimental short film using stop motion along-side high speed capture for slow motion. The intention was to create an edgy and graphic feel. I’ll let you be the judge as to whether I achieved it!
For the motion side of it I used a Sony FX30 with a vintage 28mm m42 lens on a Fotga focusing rig, a Go-Pro 4 Black and for the stills element a Nikon D4 with 70-200mm f2.8 and a 35mm f1.8.
